Why Am I Blogging?

The typical question I asked myself: "Why Am I Blogging?". I have seen many Video Logs(VLOGS) of cooking various recipes. Most of them are really interesting and presented deliciously. On almost every weekend I tried those delicious recipes in my home and served them among my family members. Their feedback was really supportive. They are the motivation behind this Food Blog.

You have been noticed the title of this blog post: "Taste of Mallu: The Typical Mallu Traditional Food Blog". All Indians might know who is a Mallu? A person from the Indian state of Kerala, especially one who speaks Malayalam(Malayali), this is what Google Says about Mallu. Note: This explanation of Mallu is only for International readers.

The specialty of Mallu Recipes is: they are spicy, tasty, aromatic and most importantly they are healthy. Most Mallu's or Malayali's like the traditional Homely Foods, i.e 100% healthy. Even at my Adulthood age, I can still taste my Childhood delicious recipes. Special Thanks to my Mother who is still cooking those tasty foods.

So if you miss those old Childhood Mallu traditional Homely food, this is the right place to taste those good old recipes.

What Am I Going To Blogging About?

As I said earlier, this is a  Blog which is about the " Mallu Traditional Homely Food Blog". The famous "sadya"  is their most famous lunch. Also some other side dishes like "Fish Curry, Chicken Dishes, Beef Fry, Variety of Thorans, Pulliserry, Kichadi..etc" are part of Mallu's lunch recipes. What about the evening snacks? My mother used to make the delicious "Kozhikotta, Aval Nanachathu, Ada, Sugiyan..etc"We call it as "4 mani palahaaram"Remembrance of those snacks brings me back to good old school days.

So, In my Blog, you can expect the ingredients & preparation of above mentioned traditional mallu homely foods. I am trying to post at least 3 recipes per week.
